He says that:
"There is a 'renumber' command, which can help you. Look in
the manual, under the same title. Its use under the 'geometry'
modality can help you because it renumbers the nodes while trying
to minimize the difference between the node numbers of each element."
You can look also here:
http://gid.cimne.upc.es/support under 'On line manual - Utilities - Renumber'
or directly here:

Hope this helps,
About this question:
Hi Alex
I would also like to know how we can ask GID to number
the nodes the way we like.If possible write an english
reply as wel.
What kind of renumeration are you thinking about?
GiD only has one way to renumber nodes. It fills the
numeration holes and tries automatically to
minimize the half bandwidth, i.e. minimize the difference between
the node numbers of each element. So there is no posibility
to manually impose a numbering order to the nodes.

Hello,
I was also interested in the following answer:
Hay un comando "renumber", que puede ayudarte. Lee el manual bajo ese
título. El uso bajo la modalidad "geometry" puede servirte porque renumera
los nodos buscando minimizar la diferencia entre los números de nodo de cada
elemento.

But I can't understand the Spanish one
Is it possible to post the answer in English too?
Thanks
