The problem type problem_type_solid2 from the GiD distribution is only a
sample of configuration files.
The analysis program (called from problem_type_solid2.bat ) is not included.
If you search a finite element program to solve structural problems of
beams, shells and 3D solids, look at this web page:
http://gid.cimne.upc.es/ram-series
This program works on Windows or Linux, and GiD version 6 or more is also
required.

Subject: [ GiDlist ] problem_type_solid2.bat doesn't exist and postprocessor
doesn'work
I have downloaded and installed GID 6.1.2.a , but
problem_type_solid2.bat doesn't exist in tar file.
-Somebody con send me this file?
So to try program I have copied problem_type_solid2.bat
from release 5 , and postrprocessor works (but I don't know
if results are good) only with examples (es. arc3d.gid).
-Wich is the problem when postprocessor don't show any
results?
I have verified that files ....flavia.res, flavia.mesh
aren't written.
-The problem is in point loads or in point constrants?
To be sure I have resolved the same flex problem with Stan
lee finite elements (postprocessor) and it show a solution
without problems.
Thank you

Hi Ramon,
yes if you could give me some info on the two codes you mentioned that would be great.
Thanks
Ryan

Dear Ryan,
We are distributing a 3D code (Code_bright) for coupled analysis of liquid mass, gas mass and heat
transfer in deformable porous media. It is oriented to the modelling of the behaviour of
geological media and the constitutive laws are adapted to this type of materials. The interface
has been developed within GiD.
You can find all information about Code_bright on the ftp site ftp://ftp-camins.upc.es/cbv2.
There are a short description of the program capabilities, the full manual of Code_Bright Version
2.0, a free of charge version of
Code_Bright (with full capabilites but limited to 200 elements) as well as the input/output files
of three simulations. If you need more information about the program, please contact me.
