[GiDlist] Multiple problem-types

Post by Marcos Todeschini »

I want to know if i can use a solver for plain stress and space frames with only one problem type, thus, what i want to know if i have to define the files for both problems, or if gid allows me to define the set of files for one problem type that involves both of them. My solver can solve them at once, not separate.
Thanks

You can create a single problemtype for your solver, GiD unknown internally your analysis pourposes.
(but it seems a little strange to mix plain stress elements with space frames, with different degrees of freedom)
