Hello everybody!!
So far, I have been using 2D geometries with unstructured quadrilateral
elements and I have exported it into a ucd file. It works properly. Now
I would like to mesh a 3D geometry with unstructured hexahedral
elements, I having problems because the program tells me that
non-structured volume only can use tetrahedral elements. If it isn't
possible, could you give me any advice?
Thanks and best regards!
(I have sent this e-mail to gidlist at cimne.upc.edu, so perhaps you will
receive it twice, sorry)

[GiDlist] unstructured hexahedral elements
It's like the message said:
GiD can't generate unstructured hexahedras, only can generate unstructured
volume tetrahedras.
Hexahedras can be obtained only for stuctured meshes, and also in last beta
versions for
semi-structured meshes (unstructured in two opposite surfaces, and
structured in an extrusion direction).
