Dear All
I did some point base (node base) analysis such as particle method.
And I want to create a plot graph of point evolution by clicking a node; howver GiD asks me to input coordinate of point.
Whenever I click the point it say that point is outside set. ( Because, I don't have elements but only nodes)
Is there anyway to click node directly ?
Thanks in advance

[GiDlist] View Graph-Point evolution for a node value
When GiD ask for the point it is initially expecting a coordinate x,y,z
(inside the domain of the elements),
but you can change it to 'expect an existing node number', click the
right-mouse button, and in the contextual menu pick "Select node"
and then can pick the node or write its number in the lower command line to
select it.

[GiDlist] GiD 11.0.7 and SAFIR
I am quite new in this field and am now trying out the trial version of Gid11.0.7 for SAFIR. I have used the GiD to create a 2D object (a 2d cylinder consisting of several layers of materials), and I would like to run the problem type Safir_thermal_2d. I use HC temperature curve for exposure on the outer layer.
I run into the following problems:
1. When I simplify the object (one layer of material) and use HC exposure, the temperature (I have defined an initial temperature of 20 deg C) at a certain thickness of the layer gets lower than 20 deg C).
2. When I use the complex layer and HC exposure, the temperature at all spatial coordinates and at all times, stays at 20 dec C.
3. When I chose "calculate window" and "start", the software "hangs".
I would be very grateful any help on this issue.
