[GiDlist] retrieve field result given point coordinates

Dear GiD users,

I wonder if one could retrieve field result (say displacement) given point
coordinates through GiD postprocess. Note mesh and analysis are done
outside GiD, and I dump data to GiD for postprocess.

More specifically, I have a 3D solid model, and I want to produce a x-y
plot of displacement field along a line path. A set of point coordinates
(not nodal coordinates) are used to define the path. I need retrieve field
result for these points to get the plot.

It's possible to create a "Cut Wire", but the points to define the linear
path must be over a element edge.
After can make a border graph selecting this cut wire.
