GiD very lagging in interacting mode

Hi

I have a model with 23760 nodes and 8250 elements. When in interacting mode, e.g., turn on the nodal DISPLACEMENT results and rotating the model, the visualization is very lagging. It's so bad that I have to kill the process. This occurs for both Fast and Safe Visualization mode. I don't think this model is large enough to cause any problem. Is there any way to improve this? The GiD version if 16.0.5 on Linux.
