Toggle node visibility in GiD

I am trying to assign some nodes in my newly generated mesh to another layer. Here is my current process:

  • Right click in main screen
    Layer>send>nodes>layer1
    keyboard: node1+enter, node2+enter
    keyboard:escape

The nodes are successfully assigned to layer1 but I cannot see them. This implies that their visibility is deactivated somewhere. How do I get the visibility of these nodes to be ON and maybe also change their representation? I want to see them big and colored a certain way…

by default nodes are not drawn, to avoid having a ‘black image’ (usually there are a lot of them).
Only isolated nodes (not belonging to any element) are drawn.

you can swap its visibility writting in the lower command line

Its color could be changed in Utilities->Preferences…
