Select one out of two points with the same coordinates

This may sound silly, but is there a way to select only one specific point out of two points with identical coordinates (duplicate point) ?

I could not find a way other than assigning these points to a different layer first.

I tried pressing Ctrl before selection, an entity menu appears where I can select what I want, but then there’s another menu without a ‘Select’ command.

Any help would be greatly welcome.

During the selection you can enter the point id number in the lower command line.
to know its ids you can for example use Utilities->List, and select in screen the two overlapped points.
