Hello,
I use GiD 15.0.4, and I am trying to visualise values on point elements. I want to store them as Gauss point values. I have used the default Gauss point set, GP_POINT_1, and created a Result section for point elements, where a single scalar value is assigned to each point element. In addition to the point elements, the mesh also contains quadrilateral plane elements whose nodes are shared with the point elements. The problem is that no results are displayed for point elements after the View results→Contour fill command. My idea was to use point elements at nodes to substitute dimensionless spring elements attached to the main structure. See the mesh file and excerpt of the result file at the end of the topic.
