I have a problem with GID when I open it, the window with a warning comes up: Could not create graphical window with 'redsize 8 -greensize 8 …, so GID is shut down, I do not know how I Can fix this error.
This is a problemtype with your graphic card or its drivers.
What is your operating system: Windows, Linux, macOs? Which exact distribution?
what is your graphic card?
1-Try to update your graphic card driver
2- As an alternative it is possible to use OpenGL by software (but redraw is slower than using the graphic card hardware acceleration)
