I need to exclude a portion of the domain an then plot the stress using “contour fill” on the remaining part.
I hope that by excluding a part of domain the maximum and minimun value of legend vould be define accordingly.
Is it possible to do that?
Do you mean to not draw the stress contour-fill with value above or below a threshold user value?
You can do it pressing in the “postprocess toolbar” the red and/or blue buttons, to set a maximum/minimum value.
Values out of range will be represented depending on Utilities->Preferences…
Postprocess->Contour fill an lines, Out maximum/minimum color (could be set as transparent, or black, or the same value of the maximum,…)
To disable this trimming of the contour fill, press the rainbow scale button of the “postprocess toolbar”
