We’re in the middle of a migration to integrate our in-house solver with GiD. We’re really stuck on customizing the .bas files so that the exported boundary conditions are interpreted correctly by our calculation engine. We’ve been looking to hire someone capable of leading this integration, but traditional engineering candidates lack a background in Software Architecture. For those of you who have already set up calculation teams abroad or in highly competitive hubs, how did you identify your technical leaders? Is it better to train a GiD expert in our specific fields or to seek out a top-tier candidate through a specialized recruitment firm to structure the team from the start?
