[GiDlist] Information about mesh format and geo format

Hi,

I would like to have detailed information about the gid mesh format and geo
format. I’m studying shape optimization and I’m using GiD to draw the
geometry
and mesh generate. The solution is done in a FEM software that I wrote. For
that reason, I would like to obtain those informations to can read the mesh
file in my program, solve the optimization problem, regenerate the geometry
and remesh, and, if necessary, solve the optimization problem again till the

convergence criteria will be achieved.

What means the lines 2 and 8 from the following piece of msh file in
project
ASCII exported?

3 4 4 984 3281
1 0 0 1 0 0 3 0

The GiD preprocess project mesh ASCII format is very simple

I attach two documents (Spanish) explaining the .geo and .msh formats

Note:
This .msh format is different from the ASCII mesh format used to import/export GiD meshes and to be read in postprocess.
This is the ASCII version of the binary mesh file saved with the model in preprocess

Best regards
