Now it’s very clear, Enrique. Thanks a lot!
Henrique.

You are right, now the merge command, doesn’t renumber the added
mesh/results to avoid repeated nodes/elements numbers (it is a
feature planned for future versions)
I think that now the only solution is as you said to model both fluid
and structure in preprocess in the same .gid project, and recaculate
it.
You can off course do external tricks, like do a program that read
the second .msh an .res files and rewrite them adding an offset to
the number ids of nodes/elements, this ‘offset’ must be off course
greater than the last ids of the first .msh & .res (if results are
in binary format, to read the .msh & .res could convert them to
ASCII format, exported from GiD Files-Export-Post
information-ASCII files)

I also tried the ‘merge’ comand, but it does not work because the
meshes were built independently and share some elements/nodes
numbers… (as far as I know, Gid does not allow numbering control)
Is it possible to use these meshes I have or I realy need to build
new meshes with distinct sets of elements/nodes numbers?? In this
case, if I am
using Gid preprocessor, do I have to model fluid and structure in
the
same .gid project?

the “open multiple” option should be used if you’ve different
meshes
at different time steps.
may be what you want to do i a ‘file – merge’ ?

Hi. No, the time steps are the same for fluid and structure
problems.
Henrique.

Hello,
the results defined in the .post.res files are defined in
different
time steps?

Asunto: [GiDlist] Cant open multiple results in FSI problems
Hello,
I’m having problems to visualize results from Fluid and
Structure
meshes in a FSI simulations. I have two .post.mesh files and
two
.post.res files (each one for each domain).
When I select “Open multiple…” in postprocess, only one
result
(fluid or structure) seams to be loaded.
