Hi:
I got a serious problem, no matter how many times i reinstall the GiD, and importing mesh or do other operations, the GiD just suddenly stop working.
Any idea?

probably is crashing when drawing because of some problem with the graphic card or driver:
try to set ‘Save visualization mode’ (Utilities->Preferences… Graphycal - System - OpenGL options
and try also to set as ‘Drawing method’ ‘Immediate mode’ or ‘Display list’
I have exactly the same issue. I saved visualization mode but it’s crashing again 
Any other ideas?
- Which exact GiD version (see Help->About GiD…)?
- Which exact operating system?
- Was GiD ever able to start on this machine or always crashed?
- Which graphic card?
