Hi there! I’m sure there are people here who work on the go or from random locations, so here’s my question… I’m starting to run some pretty long GiD calculations (like jobs that take several hours), and sometimes I launch them from places where the Wi-Fi is really terrible. A colleague mentioned switching to an eSIM card to get a more stable data connection through a different carrier depending on where you are, without physically changing phones. Honestly, I haven’t looked into it much, but I’m interested for times when I need to monitor simulations remotely or access a compute server from a café or a train. Do you guys use this kind of thing? Are there any carriers or plans that are really worth it for this kind of use—somewhat substantial data usage but not necessarily continuous?
