Convergence Issue

Hi there,

I am simulating a problems which works in Thermo-Hydro_mechanical simulation in soil deposit, while I apply a negative water pressure (i.e. Suction pressure on soil), I get the error stating as " Convergence is not possible, dtime=dtime/2. has been 100 times,stop.", How can I get rid of this problem.

Dear Kevin,

If you have a convergence problem, it probably means that your model is not well defined. You might for example have some boundary condition that creates a sudden increase in some magnitude that the model cannot deal with.
