I have just started to work with the CODE_BRIGHT software for my research work and have very little knowledge about the same. Could you please tell me how can I improve better? Are there any specific courses?

I am going through the tutorials and the manual but it going round-and-round because in tutorial, at places, it has been mentioned ‘refer manual’ and when I refer it, there is very little information given about the same. Moreover, without using software, reading manual only is of little help I feel.

I would be highly obliged if anyone could direct me in this regard.

Yes, there is a Code_Bright course every year. This year 2016 it will be held in Barcelona from the 8th to the 10th of June.

Thank you for 2016 course dates. On the Code_Bright website, however, the information (cost, program, etc.) regarding the course is for 2015. Is there someone we can contact regarding the details for this year?

Dear André,

You can ask me all your questions. Anyway, the course this year will be very similar to the one last year, so that information is pretty accurate. The cost will be the same and we won’t probably know the exact details about the program till june, but as I said, it will be very similar.

Thanks for the reply. I see the website have been updated with the 2016 information.

Since I need to apply for a visa, one of the requirements is an invitation letter for the course. Could you assist me in obtaining such a letter?

Then, is there any accommodation close to the course venue that you can suggest?

What are main topics which they cover in Code_Bright Course? I have basic knowledge of thermo-hydro-mechanical analysis in geological media and I need learn more deeply.

The can find the program of the course in the Code_Bright website, although there could be some slight changes.

The curse covers from the basics to more advanced topics and finally some real applications. If you have any further questions regarding the code, you may ask them during the tutorials practice.

In the CODE_BRIGHT COURSE web site, it is stated that there will be a course on 7-9 th June 2017. However, on the registration form, it says 2016.

I would like to learn if there will be a course this year and if there is a limit for attendance.

Hello,

I seem to be having trouble finding the newest page of the code_bright course, as the link you posted here in previous posts is no longer working. Will there be a course for 2018? If so, would there be any chance for it to be also a learning distance course? (I don’t live any near Spain :laughing: )

And, by the way, is there any official forum specifically for debating and sharing content related to Code_Bright created by the Code_Bright team?

The course is programmed from 6th to 8th June 2018, and it is not planned to do a distance learning course.
