I've been experiencing similar issues with mesh generation as discussed in the thread https://forum.gidsimulation.com/viewtopic.php?t=8116 . In my case, the process doesn't just freeze; it also occasionally crashes the program. I'm working with complex geometries and wondering if there are specific settings or practices that could help optimize the meshing process to prevent these freezes and crashes.

Has anyone encountered and resolved this issue?

The answer is the same: attach a zip with the specific model
And off course try always to use the last available GiD version (developer and or official)
