Hello
Running Gid10 on Ubuntu 20.04 produces the error:
gid.exe: /home/abc/sw/gid10.0.9/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.8' not found (required by /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGLU.so.1)
gid.exe: /home/abc/sw/gid10.0.9/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.9' not found (required by /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGLU.so.1)
Would it be Gid10 outdated and not supported in new system anymore?
Cheers
Giang

The OS are continuously evolving and old versions of the programs cannot be run in modern OS versions.
In some cases is possible do to something, like install missing libraries, etc. but sometimes become impossible
To continue using a 10.x licence you can try the most modern 10.x version available (developer 10.2.1d)
and off course consider to install the current GiD versions 15.0.3 official and 15.1.1d developer
