Hi,


I think that I have a simple problem, but since was released that last version of the program that I can't to print the results on the truss elements. I attached a simple example with 5 bars to illustrate (post-processor files). I would like to see the results directly on the bars.

Your result file is ok

I think that the problem is not the GiD version, and probably you don't have the latest version (released the past week): 11.0.4 is the last official and 11.1.3d is the last developerr version

Probably do you have some user preferences that not show the bars properly.

Check for example Options-Geometry-Line options...
and Window-View style... (maybe your set is off)

Can see for example bar strains with
View Results-Contour fill-Strains
or
View Results-Line diagram-Scalar-Strains

If you are unable to see these results try to reset your postproces user preferences deleting the files .GiDPostPreferences.ini and gid.ini, located at
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\current user\Application Data\GiD
Windows Vista , 7, 8: C:\Users\current user\AppData\Roaming\GiD
Linux / Mac OS X: $(HOME)
