Hey there,
I recently purchased a floating licence of the latest GiD version.
The licence is installed on a windows server and I was wondering, if it is possible to access the floating licence with a linux machine. I am currently not able to do so.
Thank you for your help.
Cheers,
Bastian

Re: Floating Licence on Windows server use on Linux machine
Yes the operating system of the 'GiD client' is not related with the operating system of the floating password server.
Then the client could be Windows, Linux or macOS,
But the client must have an Internet connection able to open the port 7073 on the IP of your server machine.
Is the client machine in the same Intranet as the server?
Or has the server a public IP (visible outside the Intranet)?
Check that the firewall of your server machine is allowing incoming TCP connections at 7073 port with passerverd
