Quadrilateral Mesh error during Calculation

Hello,

My program is unable to perform any calculation when I choose the mesh element type as "quadrilateral", when I checked the "view calculation process window" , the following error lines were displayed.

GRAVITY (gx,gy,gz): 0.000000E+00 -0.981000E+01
Error: mnval not sufficient for ltype=2,5 or 7
mnval must be at least 4 for ltype=2,5 or 7
execution stops

Just for your information, earlier the program could perform the calculations with exactly the same model, conditions, mesh type etc. I have retried again and again and followed the same steps as earlier but this time it is showing this error. The program is having this problem only with the quadrilateral element type of mesh. Can anyone help me on this ?

What is the calculation problemtype that are you using?
And what is your GiD version?

Your messages depends on the solver, not of GiD.
Maybe there is a problem of GiD that is not writing the input that the solver expects,
or maybe it is a bug of the problemtype or the exe of the solver.

Hello,

Ok. I have tried with a different Problem Type and I am still unable to proceed my calculation using the Quadrilateral Mesh. Can there be anyway that is possible to enter the "max no iteration points" (referring the CB_User guide files, mnval = max number of iterations points) ?

The Problem Type that I am using is Code_Bright V7 (V7 is my original file. after reading your reply I have tried other Problem Type available also) and GiD 13 is used.

Thank you

The attached file 'Mesh.gid.rar' is corrupted.

In any case seems that the question is related to code_bright, not to GiD. Ask again the question in this sub-forum
