Hello,



It seems there are problems after installing GiD 11 keeping GiD 10. In fact,
the following issue I already posted few weeks ago:



1) Somehow an error in GiD v10 appears when ploting an eps file: "Couldn´t
write ps/eps file. Check permissions and quotas". If both versions 11 and 10
are uninstalled and then v10 is reinstalled, the problem disappears. What is
going on here?



The eps file obtained in GiD v11 is not good:



2) Somehow the color bandplot shrinks and moves near to the coordinate axis.
This issue happens even GiD v10 is not installed. What is going on here?

I am trying to add the Abaqus and Nastran problem types to GiD, but the
Internet retrieve function fails without any specific error message.

This happens in Windows 7 and Debian Linux, both 64 bit.

Or is the use of these problem types not available in the evaluation
version?

Hello,
I tried to download Abaqus and Nastran and it worked without problem (I'
tried from GiD 11.1.0d for Windows x32 and x64)

Note: to get a problemtype from the Internet retrieve window must select the
problemtype and press the 'Retrieve Problem type' button
(it is not very intuitive, it seems that is necessary to press the check
button of the third column, but this column only show the currently
installed problemtypes)

If you are unable to get them, can use these direct links
ftp://gid.cimne.upc.es/pub/gidmodules/nastran-4.1.zip
ftp://gid.cimne.upc.es/pub/gidmodules/abaqus-4.0.zip
and unzip its contents inside the \problemtypes GiD folder
