The 8th GiD Convention will be held from 1st to 3rd June 2016 in Barcelona. The objective of this event is to bring together users and developers of GiD pre/post processing system in order to exchange ideas and experiences on the generation of data for computer simulation and the graphic visualization of numerical results.

On the first day (June 1st), the Convention workshop will deal with advanced topics related to pre and post processing. Furthermore, the 13rd version of GiD will be released in the frame of the GiD Convention, and the new features of the new version will be presented.

The following two days (June 2nd and 3rd) will take place the Convention courses about new GiD 13 and application modules in several engineering fields.
