Hi Gid team,
When opening saved gid model (from 11.1.9d|) in ver 11.0.6 mesh/no mesh assignments are respected, so it must be a bug in 11.1.9d ?

It seems that is not a bug of the 11.1.9d version,
As I have pointed, in your model do you have set the preference
Meshing-Other - Mesh always by default. For surfaces= true
Uncheck it and generate the mesh again.

I would like to export my results in some points that are not mesh nodes. I
have the coordinates of those points. Is there a way to get the results in
those "observation points"?

It may not be a bug but the "mesh criteria - no-mesh - volumes" over rides this setting on earlier versions of GiD including 11.0.6 which seems more sensible?

Within my experience, post process of "contour fill" does not work on
GiD 11.1.9.d.
For instance, please verify it in cmas2d example.
Can anybody assert if it works or not?

My PC is Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit and "Safe visualization mode" of GiD
has been used
for postprocessing.

As seen in cmas2dsample_postprocess.png attached to this mail,
"contour lines" works but "contour fill not working".

Maybe do you have something unusual in your gid.ini file

Start “GiD safe mode” once, and set the ‘Reset preferences’ option, to delete this file







And not set the Software OpenGL option, if it works well it is faster than using OpenGL by software.

If it works badly (something is drawn bad in screen) then can change this setting after in the preferences window (Fast / Safe visualization mode)
