[GiDlist] pow fonction in Gid?

Hello,

I want to calculate a=b^(1/3) or a=b^5 for example and the command
*set var a=pow(b,1/3) is generating an error message, the command power(b,5) also. In the manual, some C format are valid for operation.
What is the power fonction in file *.bas?

Thank.
Patrick Chevalier.

The pow function is not implemented.

The valid functions in the *.bas actually are:
"sin","cos","tan","asin","acos","atan","exp","fabs","abs",
"sqrt",+,-,*,/,strcmp,strcasecmp
(,),=,,,!,&,|,
numbers and variables.

We will try to include the function "pow " for the next GiD beta version.

Best regards
