Sorry, the current RamSeries4 downloaded is for Windows, and you use Linux.
All the tcl code works on all platforms, but inside /RamSeries4/ramsolid
and /RamSeries4/rambshell
for Linux is needed the program "ramsolid" ("ramsolid.exe" is only for
Windows).

I did not download RamSolid4 from a website. I downloaded it using the
Internet Retrieval feature in the Data menu. I did not download a
ramsolid.exe file. I only see rambsolid.gid and ramshell.gid in the
RamSeries4 directory. Are you sure that my problem is that I have the wrong
download? As I said earlier, I am having other problems where the program
cannot seem to find its files.

If you download RamSeries using the Internet Retrieval feature (Data menu),
the downloaded calculation
code (\problemtypes\ramseries4\ramsolid.gid\ramsolid.exe) works only for
Windows.
For Linux is needed another aditional ramsolid compiled code.
See more info of RamSeries at http://www.compassis.com
