[GiDlist] Iso-surfaces and vector filed

Post by Khaled Obeidat »

Hello,

I have my fields points in volume as a function of (x,y,z). What I would
like it to have is the iso-surface that represent certain field magnitude
in GID. Could you please give some hints.

I also would like to visualizes these points in vector form at specific
plane such as (x,y,0) in GID. Could you please give some hints.

Thanks

About your two questions:
!) I have my fields points in volume as a function of (x,y,z). What I would like it to have is the iso-surface that represent certain field magnitude in GID. Could you please give some hints.

Set for example visualization style to Boundaries,
and set
Options-IsoSurfaces-Display Style-Body
Then
View Results-Isosurfaces ...

2) I also would like to visualizes these points in vector form at specific plane such as (x,y,0) in GID. Could you please give some hints.

Can create a cut from this plane (Do Cuts-Cut Plane ... )
Some options are availables for sets, but not for cuts. Can convert cuts to sets with DoCuts-Convert cuts to surface sets
