Hi,
Would it be possible to have dependent parameters (on boundary) while
creating a parametric surface in GID? For example, would it handle a case
like if I am using this- ( Limit for parameter 'u' depends on parameter
'v', seems not to work)

[GiDlist] Parametric surfaces with dependent parameters on b
It is not possible to set a parameter u or v as a function of the other.
The only that you could do is to write the u limit numeric values or a formulae that uses the constant pi (e.g. 2*pi)
The space parameter of a NURBS surface must be a rectangle (a square [0,1]x[0,1] normalized)
and the 3D surface must be topologically also a kind of ‘curved rectangle’
This tool create a NURBS surface by trying to interpolate a collection of ‘near-parallel’ v=constant curves by a cubical NURBS.
In your example it seems that you are trying to degenerate the square to a triangle, this is not valid for the interpolation.
Regards
Enrique
