Hi, all,
I am wondering if it is possible to set different scale factors for
deformation mesh in two directions, i.e. x and y, of a 2D picture in GID.
If the answer is yes, how to achieve it? As far as I understand, it seems
GID can only assign an uniform scale factor for both directions in the same
picture. Is it right? Many thanks in advance for the help.
Bests,
Gangjin

[GiDlist] problem about scale factor of deformed mesh
The deformation factor scale is a single uniform value.
Maybe it is interesting for you to know that the 'Copy' window in
postprocess could do a 'Scale' transformation of the mesh, with different
scale values on each x, y, z direction

[GiDlist] problem about scale factor of deformed mesh
Hi, Enrique,
I checked the reference manual and GID itself. It seems the 'scale
transformation' is only accessible in pre-process rather than
post-process...Is there any other way in which the deformation mesh with
different scale factors in two directions in post-process stage can be
achieved? I will appreciate your help.

Gangjin
