Is it possible to generate plane meshes for higher order triangular elements, e.g. with 1 or 2 nodes per side?

You can create quadratic elements (9 nodes for triangles) selecting the
Meshing-Quadratic option

this is an errata:
9 nodes for triangles
for
6 nodes for triangles
