Hi
Is it possible to add comments into condition & problem files? putting *# at
the beginning of a line does not work.
Also is it possible to automatically assign all surfaces with a specified
material to a specified surface condition? rather than have to do it
manually?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Mark

*# is only valid for the template *.bas file, but can use a "COMMENT:" field inside a condition, material or problem data.
Using the last GiD 7.4.3b beta version , I'ts also available to use blank lines (for a more user readable *.cnd or *prb file)

[GiDlist] .cnd & .prb files
Currently is not posible to select entities by material, for next versions can add this option using a selection filter
(see Utilities-Graphical-Selection window).

[GiDlist] .cnd & .prb files
Hello,
It is not possible by now to add comments to the .prb or .cnd files.
It should be easy to automatize this kind of assignation of materials
by using TCL. Typically,
your problemtype would substitute the meshing command by a modified
meshing that also
calls your code for making the automatation. Check module Tdyn in
internet retrieve. There,
similar things are being done.
