Thanks for your quick response.
Following your instrucions I managed to get a swept volume, but for some unknown reason to me the geometry created does not strictly follow the defined path, see attached file where it can be seen what I have made.
I just got the geometry of the center, in place of the right one which was made with a third party 3D CAD and then imported via an iges format file.
Could you please tell me how I would get the right volume within GiD ?.

This is a corrected bug of some previous versions (you used 7.5.2b).
Update GiD to the last available beta 7.6.0b beta version.
I attach your model, including the sweep obtained with GiD (pink layer)
Note: I moved the source surface to the path line start.
