Couldn't mesh: not enough space in octtree

Post by dorishuntt »

When I try to mesh my model, I reseave an mesh error that says: "Couldn't mesh: not enough space in octtree".
What does this mean?
When I ask to signal it in my model, GiD just indicates a random point in a volume.
What can I do/check? please help me.

This mean that the mesher is unable to generate the mesh
the point signaled is a coordinate near the problematic part, if this information is available from the mesher
Sometimes It can aid to detect the problems in the geometry (e.g. self-intersected parts, too short curves, etc.)
