problem_with_divide_volumes

Post by ewpostek »

Hello,
I read the postprocess files.
Then, I can see the structure.
I want to "divide volume sets".
However, when I want chose two points
("Enter two points to define plane ... ")
I cannot chose them with mouse cursor.
Namely, it is just inactive.
It happens with windows 11, card = AMD Radeon RX 6600 (the driver is updated),
Gid 14, gid 16 (including the newest).
Could you give an advice?

It seems an OpenGL issue related with the graphic card or driver.
Try to bypass the problem trying
1- Utilities - Preferences: Graphical - System
"Selection lines by software"
2-Safe visualization mode

(and finally can try to run
C:\Program Files\GiD\GiD 17.0\gid_offscreen.vbs
that start a copy of GiD compiled with the graphic library Mesa3D instead OpenGL
