[GiDlist] What kind of knots vectors is available in GiD?

Dears,

What kind of knots vector is available for NURBS surface and lines? And how
can I do to see it? At the moment, I am considering its as OPENUNIFORM.

GiD NURBS are open (not periodic) with non-uniform knots normalized to the space parameter 0.0 - 1.0
You can list some entity to see its definition: Utilities-List

Hello,

I’m trying to export a calculation output file in MSC/NASTRAN format using the NASTRAN 2.4 problem type software available on GiD’s website.

The geometry is a simple 2-D meshed rectangle that I’ve applied the Laminate property type to.

I’m getting two different errors:

Error in base file H:\GiD\Problem Types\nastran2.4\nastran.gid\nastran.bas at line number 2952: Error in TCL expression: ‘syntax error in expression " $statment_num==4 $values != “”": extra tokens at end of expression’

and

Error in base file H:/GiD/Problem Types/nastran2.4/nastran.gid/includes/execntrlmsc.h at line number 5: word: ‘MODES’ doesn’t existCommand:GenData must be a charError in ‘strcmp’ or ‘strcasecmp’. Error in base file H:/GiD/Problem Types/nastran2.4/nastran.gid/includes/execntrlmsc.h at line number 5: Error into an *if expression


Any help would be greatly appreciated!
