[GiDlist] Surface modelling

Hi GiD team

I’m very pleased with the surface modelling ability of gid but (there is
always a but) I would like to suggest a feature that I would find very
useful & hopefully you might think of developing it for future releases?

I would like to impose a tangency condition where 2 surfaces
meet/intersect. This is difficult to do manually as it requires the
surfaces to be deleted the common edge to be modified & then the
surfaces redefined. I’d like to select the surfaces and define a radius
which blend 1 surface into the other.

Maybe this should be possible using the tools:right
buttons:geometry:edit:tangentnurbsSurface but most of the time gid
crashes & exits without warning! Can you explain the use of the enter
maximum angle to accept tangents?
I’m using gid7.7.7b, is this fixed in version 8?

Thanks in advance.
Best regards
