Hello,

The ‘current syle’ you selected is for the new graphs.

To change the style of an already created graph, you need to go to the
‘Graph management’ panel:

In this panel, just select the graph, choose the style you want for the
graph, and press ‘apply’.

You can also try to delete your ‘gid.ini’ user file, maybe it is storing some unexpected value for some graph related variable.
(when deleting this file it is is automatically rebuild with default values when starting GiD again)

Hi Enrique/Miguel
deleting gid.ini (I just renamed it) caused GiD to start up with a corrupted display drawing area? so I uninstalled 9.0.2 & installed 9.1.1b, graphs still won’t display lines? changing to safe mode has no effect.
Attached is an example results file, I want to display a line graph from point (0,0,1) to (0,0,56.9) but then I get no lines, if I choose some other points or border graph then I get lines OK?

Hello,

I found the problem; it’s a bug when doing a line graph along an border of a
quadrilateral mesh.

To overcome this problem you can do a graph just bit below the border, for
instance: from point 0.001,0,0 to point 0.001,0,56.9, then you’ll get a
graph like this:

This will be solved for the next version of GiD.

Thanks for your help,

Hello,

The ‘current syle’ you selected is for the new graphs.

To change the style of an already created graph, you need to go to the
‘Graph management’ panel:

In this panel, just select the graph, choose the style you want for the
graph, and press ‘apply’.

Hello,

I found the problem; it’s a bug when doing a line graph along an border of a quadrilateral mesh.

To overcome this problem you can do a graph just bit below the border, for instance: from point 0.001,0,0 to point 0.001,0,56.9, then you’ll get a graph like this:

This will be solved for the next version of GiD.

Thanks for your help,

Miguel Pasenau

Hi Enrique/Miguel

deleting gid.ini (I just renamed it) caused GiD to start up with a corrupted display drawing area? so I uninstalled 9.0.2 & installed 9.1.1b, graphs still won’t display lines? changing to safe mode has no effect.

Attached is an example results file, I want to display a line graph from point (0,0,1) to (0,0,56.9) but then I get no lines, if I choose some other points or border graph then I get lines OK?

You can also try to delete your ‘gid.ini’ user file, maybe it is storing some unexpected value for some graph related variable.

(when deleting this file it is is automatically rebuild with default values when starting GiD again)
