Hello everybody!
I have created a 2D geometry with its boundary conditions and its mesh.
I want all this information to export in a “GiD msh” format. But I have
realized that in the file I get there is information about the geometry,
the mesh, the material of the elements but nothing about the boundary
conditions.
I would like to know how to export in this “.msh” (doing File- export-
GiD msh) file the boundary conditions along with the other information.
Thanks in advance.
Best!
Isabel
The GiD mesh format doesn’t support the geometry or the boundary conditions,
is only for the mesh.
In fact the boundary conditions doesn’t exists until they are defined by a
problemtype, in this case usually the problemtype developer
also define the .bas template to export all the information (mesh and
conditions) required by its solver (with its specific format).
Try to use
Files-Export-Calculation file…
(or press the Calculate menu to export this file and start the solver if
any)
