Dear Gid,
I have a problem in the .bas file. I have a loop for the interval data
*loop Intervals
*set var j=Operation(IntvData(Number_of_time_intervals_with_this_length,int))
*for(i=1;i=j;i=i+1)
*format ???
*IntvData(Time_step_length)
*end for
*end Intervals
i want a format for write 8 IntvData(time_step_length) in the same line. Just like:
0.0100 0.0100 0.0100 …etc
thanks.

you can do it this way
*IntvData(Time_step_length) *\
note *\ at the end of the line,
best regards,

Hello GiD team,
I’m using GiD 8.0.9.
I have two questions about postprocessing for models having both
Prisma and Hexahedra.
Let me know how I can display vectors for both element types
simultaneously; not separately.
In post processing menus, both SomeVectors and SomeVectors#Prism
exist and can display vectors separately. Its not my wish.
Second question:
For such mixed models, GiD automatilcally display boundaries of Prisma
and Hexahedra. This boundaries are ugly. Let me know how to remove
boundaries in post process drawing.
Hello Hemmi,
Nowadays both results defined in different gauss points could not visualized
simultaneously in a direct way,
but you can use a trick and draw as two different results simultaneously,
from the menu: Window-Several results, set the ‘one over another’ radio
button
For future versions we will improve it, to avoid to have to use this trick
I think that now it’s not possible to avoid to display the interface between
prisms and hexahedra as a boundary.
Try all available style options in Window-View style
As another trick, you can split prisms an hexas into tetrahedra for
posprocess pourposes, and also write gauss results as nodal results.
Regards
Enrique Escolano
