Hi.
I would like to know if there is some free problem type (designed inside the new framework of data tree) concerning to FE analysis?
If so, is there any suggestions?
Thank you.

Re: Mutiple .post.res files
Hi.
I am having the same problem. I have written multiple .post.res files and also the .post.lst file like this:
Multiple
mesh_1.post.res
mesh_2.post.res
...
and so on. However, GiD gives a message like "couldn't find mesh_1.post.res.msh" for every file in .post.lst.
I appreciate any help.

Re: Different .exe files
So, I will build a field in the data tree to store all .exe files avaible. The user will chose one of them. After that, I must change the name of the .exe in the .unix.bat file. All .exe files will be located in the file 'exec', just like in the example cmas2d_customlib. How do I change the name of ...

Different .exe files
Hi,
I would like to set a list of .exe files in data tree.
The .exe files will be located in the file 'exec', just like in the example cmas2d_customlib.
How do I set a specific .exe file in the .tcl file?

Re: Axisymmetric problems with hexahedra
OK.
I was able to generate a mesh by a semi-structured volume. I have searched by a revolution mesh, but didn't find. How can I do a mesh symmetrical with respect to a axis?

Axisymmetric problems with hexahedra
Hi.
I would like to know how to force GiD to mesh axisymmetric problems with hexahedra elements. I am getting a message saying that this is not possible for unstructured volumes, but I know GiD can build it.

Creating a new folder for .post files.
Hi.
I would like to know how to create a folder inside the model's folder to put the .post.msh and .post.res files. Also, when i change pre -> post inside GiD, how GiD will know the new directory of the .post.msh and .post.res files?

Re: How to force the user to salve a model before running it
In place of 'salve', reads 'save'.
