Re: Rainfall Data
UPDATE: I managed to make ti compute by introducing Atmospheric boundary condition even in the intervals where no rainfall should be applied. In the _atm.dat file I applied zero precipitation in every single interval before 16 in order to make Code_Bright not crash. The weird outcome is that even in...

Rainfall Data
Dear Code_Bright Community, I have been trying to simulate the effect of rainfall. The simulation I attached is of a cube, meshed with a 100 elements. I have been struggling to understand the proper way to implement this effect even after reading the manual and the tutorial examples. To clarify the ...

Re: Undrained Triaxial Tests - BBM
Dear Alfonso,
thank you for the input. Yes you are right, if only y is fixed the whole model starts moving. I fixed both x and y and the problem still persists.
Best regards,
Boris

Undrained Triaxial Tests - BBM
Dear CB community, does anyone know how to set up a simulation of an undrained TX test in CB? My steps are: 1. Define geometry 1x1m 2. Create material with BBM constitutive model and assign to surface 3. Fix bottom of model in y direction 4. Assign initial porosity and initial suction (0 for full sa...

Erroneous node numeration, mbndg > numnu
I am trying to simulate a single element tests in CB with a BBM model. The problem is that when I try to do only one element I get this error: *Erroneous node numeration, mbndg > numnu* Which means: Global matrix bandwidth > number of unknowns. Can anyone tell me how to simulate a single element in ...

No Result Vizualization in PostProcessor
Hi all,
My laptop cannot create the visualization of my results in the postprocessor of GiD.. When i transfer the file to my PC, the visualization works.
I tried re-installing Gid but it didn't work. Any ideas?
