Effective Stress in Unsaturated Soils

Dear CODE_BRIGHT Team, I simulated an unsaturated clay seal confined by the host rock (H-M). As part of boundary conditions, the clay seal had suction applied and pore air pressure was constant and zero. The results showed that the suction was dissipated after 20 years. I believe that in a confined ...

Re: H-M Modeling

Dear CODE_BRIGHT Team, I attach the latest file. I changed mechanical boundary conditions and intervals in this model, but still got the same error message. It continued to say that "time increment will be reduced due to problems with mechanical model. Convergence is not possible". I check...

H-M Modeling

Hello, I tried to obtain H-M interaction of clay surrounded by rock, however it continued to show an error message relating to convergence. It worked fine using only Hydraulic modeling (checked only mass balance of water in equations solved), but adding stress equilibrium resulted in an error. I che...

Mockup Practice in Tutorial

Hello, I wonder if someone can help me to resolve my problem in following the Mockup practice in tutorial. I checked all parameters and boundary conditions, but couldn't get the same result as one shown in tutorial. For example, contour fills show that temperature became 100 °C in bentonite area,...

Re: Message: Node out of range:in this line:5-Reading Result

Thank you for your reply. The file that I attached was not the complete file. I believe there was an error in compressing the gid folder. As mentioned, I followed the steps and saw all entities and meshes. I tried uploading again. Hopefully it works this time. Please let me know if it works or not. ...

Message: Node out of range:in this line:5-Reading Results

Hello, I am a new user of GiD 12 and was following steps of Mock-up Test shown in the tutorial manual. I tried twice the same example and got the same message "Node out of range: in this line: 5 - Reading Results". Could you please find out what was wrong and let me know? I attached the ex...
